THE PROGRAMME

Event hire referral programme. How it works.

Once approved as a referral partner, you introduce clients to Event Activators. We take it from there. We handle the render, the quote, the branding, the delivery. If that client books, and a second introduction from you also converts, commission is paid retrospectively on both completed bookings.

From that point, every booking that introduced client ever makes with Event Activators earns you commission. Not just the first. Not just the first year. Every booking, for as long as that client relationship continues.

This is not a one-off referral fee. It is a sustained income stream built on the quality of your introductions.

HOW COMMISSION WORKS

Three stages to earning.

Once registered and approved, the programme works in three stages. Commission is structured around completed bookings, not just introductions.

Introduce.

You make the introduction. We take it from there. The client receives a branded render within 24 hours, a quote within 48 hours, and a dedicated point of contact throughout.

Second booking completes.

Once a second introduction from you converts into a completed booking, commission is paid retrospectively on both bookings. The first introduction earns commission too. It just pays out once the second completes.

Lifetime commission.

Every subsequent booking from any client you introduced earns commission. Not capped. Not time-limited. For as long as that client continues to book with Event Activators, you earn.

THE RIGHT PARTNERS

Who the referral programme is for.

People with credibility in the events industry. Producers, consultants, creative directors, brand professionals. Anyone whose introductions carry weight and whose network includes brand teams, marketing directors, or event decision-makers.

The programme works best for people who are naturally well-connected. You are already in conversations with brands that could benefit from a premium event unit. You are not selling on our behalf. You are simply making an introduction to someone you think we can help.

We review every application. The programme is not open to everyone. We are looking for partners whose introductions are credible and whose professional reputation means a recommendation from them is taken seriously.

TERMS

Referral programme terms.

Commission is paid on completed bookings only. A booking is completed when the event has taken place and the client has paid in full. Commission is not paid on cancelled bookings or bookings where payment remains outstanding. Only introductions made by registered, approved referral partners qualify for commission.

The two-booking threshold applies per partner, not per client. Once any two introductions from you have converted into completed bookings, commission is unlocked retrospectively on both. Every completed booking from an introduced client after that point earns commission as it completes.

Self-referrals are excluded. If you introduce your own employer, your own company, or an organisation where you are a director, employee or contractor, that introduction does not qualify for commission. The programme is for third-party introductions only.


Commission rates are discussed during the application review. We do not publish rates on the website. The rate is agreed when the partnership is confirmed and applies to all qualifying bookings from that point forward.

REFERRAL QUESTIONS

Referral programme. Common questions.

  • First, apply through the form at the bottom of this page. Once we have reviewed and approved your application, you can make introductions. A warm email connecting both parties, a phone call where you brief us before connecting, or a message through your partner contact. The introduction needs to be attributable to you so we can track the referral and the commission.

  • We take it from there. The client receives a branded render within 24 hours, a quote within 48 hours, and a dedicated point of contact. You do not need to be involved in the sales process unless you want to be. We keep you updated on whether the introduction converted.

  • Commission is paid after a booking completes. The two-booking threshold means your first payment arrives once your second introduced booking has completed. At that point, commission on both bookings is paid. Every subsequent completed booking pays commission individually as it completes.

  • Yes. If you introduce Client A and they book with us once a year for the next five years, you earn commission on every one of those bookings. The commission is tied to the introduction, not to a time window.

  • Yes, but the two programmes serve different purposes. If you are delivering an activation for your own client and white-labelling our unit, that is an agency relationship. If you are simply introducing someone who could benefit from our service, that is a referral. The same person can operate in both channels for different clients.

  • Let us know about the introduction before or at the time you make it. As a registered partner, your introductions are tracked through your account. If we can attribute the client to you, the commission applies. If a client arrives and we have no record of the introduction, we cannot attribute it. Brief us first, then make the connection.

  • The programme is designed for third-party introductions. Introducing your own employer or a company where you are a director, employee or contractor is not a referral in the way the programme intends. If your company wants to book a unit, we are happy to work with you directly through our standard channels.
