AUTOMOTIVE EVENT UNIT HIRE
Automotive Event Unit Hire.
If you are planning an automotive activation, you already know the standard. The unit has to land at a press launch venue, a manufacturer event, a dealer day, or a motor show, and it has to look like the brand. Premium finish. Architectural presence. Hospitality that sits comfortably alongside permanent OEM stands, and a display environment that does justice to the vehicle. We design and hire event units built for exactly that brief, including the Showrooms, architectural glass display units purpose-built for vehicle reveals and brand showcase work.
Automotive is the sector our units were designed around.
Event Activators is a brand of We Are Nameless, a UK automotive events and PR agency with direct experience running launches, hospitality, dealer programmes, and brand activations for marques across the sector. The units exist because automotive clients needed them. The first commercial activation was Maserati at Bicester Scramble, and the fleet has continued to develop around the operational realities of working with automotive brands and the agencies that serve them. The Showrooms in particular were designed for the sector. Architectural glass display units built around the vehicle, with a fused configuration sized for full vehicle reveals and a glass-walled configuration designed for drive-in display. No other product family in the EA range is as sector-specific as the Showrooms are for automotive.
The fleet is built around the UK automotive event calendar. Goodwood Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival at Goodwood. Bicester Scramble and Bicester Heritage events. Salon Privé at Blenheim Palace. The British Motor Show at Farnborough. Everything Electric at the same venue. CarFest. Supercar Fest. Company Car in Action at Millbrook. SMMT Test Days. EV Live. The Concours of Elegance at Hampton Court. The London Concours. Manufacturer press launches at proving grounds, country estates, and city centre venues across the UK. Each event has a different operational character and a different audience profile. The EA team understands both.
This page is for marketing managers, brand event managers, dealer marketing leads, and the experiential agencies running activations across the automotive sector. It explains what an EA event unit brings to an automotive event, and which of our three product families fits which kind of activation. If a different format is right for your brief, we will tell you. We would rather help you make the right decision than sell you the wrong unit.
What an EA event unit brings to an automotive activation.
Automotive is a sector where the visual standard is set by permanent OEM stands at major events. The activation has to compete at that level. Five things matter, and they are what our units are designed around.
Architectural presence that holds its own against OEM stands. At Goodwood, Bicester, the British Motor Show, EV Live, and the major motor shows, the visual environment is dominated by permanent manufacturer activations. Our units are designed to read as architecture rather than as a trade stand. Modular cladding, clean panel surfaces, premium finish throughout. The unit sits comfortably alongside the biggest brands in the paddock or the show hall.
HIAB delivery and rapid setup. Automotive event windows are tight. Setup days are crowded with vehicle handling, signage installation, and OEM logistics. Our units are delivered by HIAB and crane-lifted into position on site. The Lounges and Showrooms are typically live and operational within an hour of arrival. The Storefronts take longer because graphic panels are applied on site once the unit is positioned, with the exact window confirmed at the point of quote. The unit lands clean, sets up fast, and clears the site without disrupting the event run.
Hospitality finish at OEM standard. Premium leather seating. Climate control. 75-inch UHD screen. Nespresso with capsules included. Integrated fridge. Architectural finishes throughout. Starlink WiFi for press, journalist briefings, and live content capture. The Lounges arrive ready for VIP hosting, dealer briefings, and customer events at the standard the sector expects.
Vehicle display capability. The Showroom is built around the vehicle. Architectural glass on three sides, wooden flooring, overhead product lighting. The Showroom configuration fuses two units side-by-side for larger vehicles and multi-car displays. The Showcase accepts vehicles via a ramped end-door for full glass-walled display. Both are designed to read as a brand environment, not as a stand.
Sector experience that informs the brief. Event Activators sits inside an automotive events agency. We understand press launch protocol, dealer event logistics, motor show stand sequencing, and the operational pressures of OEM marketing teams. The unit is one part of what we bring. The other part is the experience of working in the sector across vehicle launches, dealer roadshows, motor shows, and press events.

Three product families for city centre activations.
Fully equipped premium environments for press launches, journalist briefings, dealer hosting, VIP customer events, and brand hospitality. Starlink satellite WiFi. Climate control. A 75-inch UHD screen. Premium leather seating. Nespresso with capsules included. Integrated fridge. Branded fascia. LED lighting. Everything included in the day rate. The Lounge arrives ready. The client focuses on their guests.
For automotive brands running press launches, dealer events, or customer hosting at motor shows, festivals, or driving events, the Lounge is the hospitality product. The Studio was the first unit in the fleet and was built specifically for Maserati at Bicester Scramble.

Architectural glass display units purpose-built for the automotive sector. The vehicle inside is the hero. The Showroom configuration is a fused 7.2m x 5.2m space designed for vehicle reveals, EV launches, and multi-vehicle displays at scale. The Showcase is a 7.2m glass-walled unit with a ramped end-door that accepts vehicles for full drive-in display. Wooden flooring, overhead product lighting, and the EA architectural visual language throughout. Climate control, AV, and back wall configurations are available as specified options. The Showrooms are the strongest product in the EA range for automotive brands launching new models, revealing concept vehicles, or running brand displays where the car is the centre of the experience.

Fully brandable activation units where every exterior surface belongs to the marque. No standard interior. Configured entirely to the brief. Retail fixtures, configurator stations, sales counters, finance kiosks, accessories displays. Branding is fully bespoke. Every exterior surface is built as a blank canvas, with full custom graphics designed and produced to brief. A typical Storefront branding pack starts from £4,500 depending on the level of finish and the graphic complexity. Options include climate control, TV screens, acoustic wall panels, kitchen units, and fridge. For automotive brands running city centre sales activations, dealer recruitment, or brand campus events, the Storefront is the configurable option. Talk to the EA team about your specific brief.

Choosing the right unit for your automotive activation. What to consider.
All three product families work in automotive contexts. The choice depends on the activation type.
If the priority is vehicle reveal, EV launch, model display, or brand showcase at scale, the Showrooms are the strongest fit. They are purpose-built for the sector, with architectural glass display environments sized for full vehicle display and configured to put the car at the centre of the experience.
If the priority is press launch, journalist hosting, dealer event, or VIP customer briefing, the Lounges are designed for that brief. They arrive fully equipped, host comfortably across a long event day, and read as designed hospitality rather than as a marquee build.
If the priority is city centre sales activation, dealer recruitment, or full brand customisation at a campus or festival event, the Storefronts are the right product. Every exterior surface is brandable, the interior is configured to the brief, and the unit reads as a designed brand pop-up rather than as a converted trailer.
Most automotive activations combine more than one of these. A press launch with a Showroom for the vehicle and a Lounge for the journalist briefing. A motor show with a Storefront for sales and a Showroom for the headline model. The EA team is happy to discuss multi-unit configurations across all three product families.
